This page says what data the coming soon page of The AI Act Game handles and what you can do about it. It is written in plain language. It is not legal advice.

Anonymous analytics

When you visit the page, it sends anonymous events to PostHog, an analytics service, in its EU region. They record that the page was opened, how long the visit lasted, the size of your browser window, what you click, and whether you opened the sign-up form, with the version of the page.

They also carry what any web request carries: your device type, browser and an approximate location worked out from your internet address. PostHog keeps a random id in a cookie and in your browser's storage, so visits from the same browser can be linked as one anonymous visitor. It is not linked to a name or an email address.

The maker relies on its legitimate interest in knowing how many people the game reaches and how they find it.

Turning analytics off

Clear "Send anonymous analytics" at the bottom left of the page. Once off, the page does not load the analytics service at all. Your browser remembers the choice.

The sign-up form

The "Keep me in the loop" button opens a Google Form, outside this site, under Google's own terms and privacy policy. What you type there goes to Google and to the game's maker. Your email address is used only to write to you about the game. Ask to be removed at any time by writing to the address below.

Who handles the data

The game's maker, Deorach OÜ, decides what is collected and why. PostHog processes the analytics events on its behalf in PostHog's EU region, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany. Google processes the form answers on its behalf under Google's terms.

How long it is kept

Analytics events are kept for 12 months, then deleted. Form answers are kept for as long as the work on the game needs them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete data about you, and you can object to analytics at any time by turning them off. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.
